Using Poisson model for inference about characteristics of continuous data? Taboo or Innovation

On December 4th, 2018, Professor Zongshan Zou Graduate Institute of Statistics National Central University, Taiwan, China, delivered a speech named “Using Poisson model for inference about characteristics of continuous data? Taboo or Innovation”, to the staff and students from Institute of Statistics and Big Data at Renmin University of China. Prof. Liping Zhu, chaired the lecture. He commented that it was an interesting study and hoped that the participants could learn more about the application of Poisson model.

Robust likelihood inference for diagnostic accuracy measures for paired organs

On December 5th, 2018, Professor Zongshan Zou Graduate Institute of Statistics National Central University, Taiwan, China, delivered a speech named “Robust likelihood inference for diagnostic accuracy measures for paired organs”, to the staff and students from Institute of Statistics and Big Data at Renmin University of China. Prof. Liping Zhu, chaired the lecture. He emphasized the practical value of this study and hoped that the participants could learn more about robust likelihood inference.
